Collection: Old Burlap

The cranberries on my husband's farm are harvested with the help of a big, heavy machine and are collected into burlap sacks. Over time, the sacks wear and are no longer suitable for work on the farm. Then they're mine!! The sacks are hand-washed and line-dried but their time on the bogs provide much in the way of texture and coloration. A little from berries, a little from peat and a little from who knows what else. One by one the tired old farm utensils are transformed into something new, from practical tote bags perfect for a trip to market to rustic decorative pillows.
